Story Synopsis & Significance
The plot centers around a massive underworld power vacuum in New York City. When Wilson Fisk's (The Kingpin) beloved wife, Vanessa, is kidnapped by rival mob families, a chaotic turf war erupts across Manhattan.
Desperate to rescue his wife and restore order, the Kingpin finds himself in a complex, uneasy alliance with Daredevil. Meanwhile, the psychopathic assassin Bullseye escapes from prison and targets the Kingpin to reclaim his spot as the underworld's top hitman, making the situation explosive for everyone involved. This storyline is highly regarded for refining the gritty, urban tone that defined Daredevil for decades
